Beth Taylor has a wealth of experience conducting comprehensive evaluations toward differential diagnosis. At Green Mountain Psychology PLLC, Beth conducts evaluations for educational, psychological, medically necessary, and forensic purposes.
All evaluations include the opportunity to meet with the psychologist after the report is completed to ask questions and discuss the report. These post-evaluation meetings are highly recommended and encouraged.
Neuropsychological evaluations offer the most information about brain functioning and behavior. Neuropsychological evaluations are frequently requested when an individual has a history of concussion or brain trauma, a medical condition that can affect brain functioning, history of treatment for cancer, and/or neuro-developmental differences. Beth Taylor is trained in multiple neuropsychological assessment batteries and has been administering neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults since 2015. She is currently enrolled in the School Neuropsychology Post-Graduate Certification Program.
Thorough evaluation is necessary for understanding what is the root cause of an individual’s struggles, and knowing this gives professionals the ability to recommend the most appropriate interventions and treatment options.
Beth Taylor administers comprehensive psychological evaluations to clarify the presence or absence of ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Learning Disorders, Substance Dependence, Personality Disorders, Trauma, and other mental health problems. These evaluations are geared toward differential diagnosis. In other words, in addition to answering the referral question (for example, “Do I have ADHD?”) Beth will look for what is causing your symptoms.
These evaluations are designed to clarify the presence (or absence) or learning disorders, emotional disturbances, ADHD, and other presentations that affect a student’s ability to learn and progress in school. Beth Taylor works with select school districts in the state of Vermont, and also conducts independent educational evaluations. She is a member of the team at Kingfisher Learning in Essex Junction, Vermont.
Beth Taylor is understanding and passionate about issues around diversity and multiculturalism. She has experience evaluating English Language Learning (ELL) and students from other countries to provide valid assessment and offer the most appropriate interventions, when needed.
Beth Taylor assesses claimants for the Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Determination.
