We offer guidance as to which type of evaluation is most appropriate.

Neuropsychological and Psychological Evaluations

Thorough evaluation is necessary for understanding what is the root cause of an individual’s struggles, and knowing this gives professionals the ability to recommend the most appropriate interventions and treatment options.

Evaluations include assessment for:

  • ADHD
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Intellectual Disability
  • Anxiety & Depression
  • Trauma
  • Mood Disorders
  • Learning Disorders
  • Substance Dependence
  • Personality Disorders
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • other mental health conditions

Neuropsychological evaluations offer the most information about brain functioning and behavior.  Neuropsychological evaluations are frequently requested when an individual has a history of concussion or traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, brain tumor, cancer treatment, and/or neuropsychological or neuro-developmental differences.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

Autism Spectrum Disorder is sometimes the root cause of difficulties with social development, communication and language, and behavioral difficulties in individuals of all ages.  Children, adolescents, and young adults are assessed for Autism Spectrum Disorder at Green Mountain Psychology.

Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE’s) / Graduate School Admission Tests

These evaluations clarify learning disorders, emotional disturbances, ADHD, and other presentations that affect a student’s ability to learn and progress in school.

Forensic Evaluations

  • Threat assessments requested by schools and educational institutions.
  • Assessment for risk of recidivism in juvenile offenders.
  • Evaluation of claimants for the Social Security Administration, Office of Disability Determination.
  • Other evaluations referred by lawyers.
